Pics! Karina Smirnoff's Controversial Playboy Cover
While "Dancing with the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff and her partner, "Karate Kid" Ralph Macchio, continue to lead on the dance floor in Season 12, Smirnoff is also showing off her physique in a new Playboy pictorial!

"As a dancer I've always embraced my body. I'm thrilled to show off my strong, toned physique in the pages of Playboy and celebrate my sexiness," Smirnoff told the magazine. "To me, sexy is the confident energy a person produces. Sexy is the comfortable feeling of being who you are. Sexy is not just having beautiful lips, legs and arms; it's beyond that. Sexy is soul."
There has been speculation Smirnoff may lose her job on "DWTS" for doing the Playboy spread, but the dancer told "Extra," "Honestly, this month is about nothing else but 'Dancing with the Stars.'"
The magazine's May issue will be on newsstands Friday, April 15.
