Actress Lindsay Lohan is joining the ranks of Madonna, Oprah, Beyonce, Cher, and other stars who go by single monikers, according to PopEater.
Lindsay's mother, Dina Lohan, confirmed that Lindsay will drop "Lohan" from her official name, and daughter Ali will also get a new name. "Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay," Dina tells PopEater's Rob Shuter. "Plus, me and Ali (sic) will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."
The starlet had been considering abandoning her last name for some time, and the Super Bowl E-Trade commercial referring to a baby as "that milkaholic Lindsay" confirmed she could do it.
Michael Lohan could not be reached for comment.
