Jessica Chastain Thought She Was ‘Going to Die’ During Scary Plane Landing
Actress Jessica Chastain was having a great week, until she flew to Las Vegas for her second CinemaCon appearance.
The actress has been on the move. She premiered her film “The Zookeeper's Wife” in NYC, then flew to CinemaCon to promote “Molly's Game." She then went to L.A. before returning to Las Vegas to accept the Female Star Award at CinemaCon.
She told “Extra's” Renee Bargh she had an awful flight over the desert because of the wind storms. “It was the scariest landing I have ever experienced," she admitted. "We landed on one wheel and I thought, 'We are going to die.'”
Rattled by the incident, she added, “We're driving back tonight. It was too scary. It is too windy outside — no one should be flying.”
Jessica, who looked fantastic in Zuhair Murad, also touched on CinemaCon and her award. “It's great… My favorite thing is to go to the movies — it's something I loved to do as a child. It brought me so much comfort, it made me connected to community, any time I was in the theater it melted away any loneliness. It's so beautiful to be here with CinemaCon and be recognized. I'm so grateful.”
