‘Spy Kids’ Star Alexa Vega Engaged
Actress Alexa Vega, best known for her starring role in the first “Spy Kids” movies, is engaged to boyfriend Carlos Pena Jr., star of the hit Nickelodeon show “Big Time Rush.”
The couple announced the news with a series of Instagram photos, including one from Vega of a shirtless Pena with the caption, “Hello, fiancé…”

Vega and Pena began dating at the end of last year, which was around the time Vega's divorce from movie producer Sean Covel became finalized. The two had been married since 2010.

The 25-year-old actress will be seen next in her “Spy Kids” director Robert "Machete Kills," out in October.
