Kyle Richards & Cynthia Bailey Dish on Their Futures with ‘Real Housewives’
Who's in and who's out of the “Real Housewives” franchise?
Fans are missing some OG favorites, from Bethenny Frankel to Vicki Gunvalson, and now rumors are swirling about who is next to leave amid talk of pay cuts and fewer episodes.
“Extra's” Mark Wright caught up with Kyle Richards of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and Cynthia Bailey of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on the pink carpet at the Women's Cancer Research Fund's "An Unforgettable Evening" event to get the scoop!
Alluding to Lisa Vanderpump's exit last year, Kyle said, “We had someone last year leave, but so far this season no one's left. We have a couple of no-shows, which is kinda common when there's so much drama going on, but that's what is happening right now, so a little no-shows but no one's left.”
Kyle assured "Extra" she is sticking around! “So far, this is my tenth season… When the bad outweighs the good, I won't be back.”
Mark asked Cynthia why the Housewives are leaving. The star, who was joined by fiancé Mike Hill, said, “I can't speak for the other franchises but, ya know, as far as 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' are concerned, I think we have a pretty solid cast.” She insisted she isn't going anywhere, saying, “I don't plan on leaving — don't start any rumors! I am not leaving. I think we have a really solid cast. Everybody brings what they bring, and I plan on being around for as long as I hope to be around.”
Billy Bush recently caught up with NeNe Leakes of “RHOA”, and she took on those rumors that she may be leaving. “Our season is still going,” Leakes said. “I have to get together with my team and discuss whether it's good for me to stay here or not.”
She went on to say, “Kenya is the one saying I'm being phased out. She says Bravo is phasing me out… If I'm being phased out, then I'm being phased out — I don't have a problem with that.” Another rumor is that Bravo is not guaranteeing any particular talent will be in every episode. NeNe confirmed that one, noting, "Yes… they are going to give each girl certain episodes and you have to work. They want to see you work to get into the others.”
What about the headlines about salary cuts? NeNe said, "I don't know if they are cutting salaries… My salary I'm very okay with, so Bravo, please understand, I am very okay with my salary."
