Nene Leakes Gives Health Update on Husband Gregg

Nene Leakes is giving a health update on her husband Gregg. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was with “Extra's” Tanika Ray at Universal Studios Hollywood saying she is in a better place after her husband's cancer battle was documented on the reality show.

“Gregg is doing great. A few days ago he took the PET scan so it's going to be able to tell whether he needs to do more chemo, if there's cancer, if it's spread… so he'll get those results next week.” She smiled, saying, “But, he looks great. I know he's going to be good.”

His health struggle is effecting the whole family, “Cancer is a very big thing. When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, we all were diagnosed with cancer in my house… our house was just… we were so down about it. It was a heavy thing on us.”

Nene is not apologizing for her on-camera altercation with some of her fellow Housewives either, including the infamous closet freak out, “No, I don't take any responsibility… Because listen… I was really going through something.”

Now, she is doing something fun — hosting the “Ladies' Night Out Tour"!

Nene has opened up a clothing store, too. She is the first black woman to open a business in the MGM Casino, “The new MGM in Oxon Hill, Maryland which is the DMV [D.C., Maryland, Virginia] area.”
