Video Reveals How Close Harrison Ford Came to Crashing into Packed Plane
Two weeks ago, Harrison Ford faced a scary incident with a passenger plane while landing at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.
Instead of landing on a runway, Harrison landed on a taxiway. A video of Harrison's mishap has been released to NBC and shows how close he was to AN American Airlines plane, which was gearing up for departure.
Unaware of his mistake, Ford asked air traffic control, “Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?” Despite the mishap, the American Airlines plane, which had 110 passengers, was able to fly out safely minutes later.
The FAA is reportedly investigating the close call. Days after the near collision, Ford was seen flying another plane with a co-pilot beside him.
Harrison has not commented on the incident.
