Rumor Bust! Authorities Did NOT Raid Teresa Giudice’s Home
The story that federal agents raided “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice's home this week is completely false.
The report said authorities went into the home to seize assets for restitution in the Giudices' bankruptcy fraud conviction, taking televisions, expensive jewelry, cash and even Christmas presents.
Mark Reilly, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office, however, told Gossip Cop the report is “not true.”
He added, “We have not gone out there, and we haven't sent anyone out there. We do not know where this came from.”
Reilly explained something like this would never happen, because federal authorities have already worked out an arrangement with the Giudices for restitution.
