Video: Kendall Jenner Breaks Down Over Bruce's Transition; His Heartfelt Response Is Perfect
Bruce Jenner is telling his story on his terms in the new E! docu-series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce,” and the first promo for the series was released on Thursday.
The Olympic hero is unveiling private videos with his before-they-were famous daughters, their emotional lost moments, as well as his wedding day with Kris.
The video includes voiceovers from the whole family. At one point, Bruce says, “These are my secrets that I have to deal with on my own.”
During one emotional moment, daughter Kendall breaks down, her voice cracks as she says "I just don't like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone,” and Bruce assures her, “I'm not going anywhere.”
Kylie, 17, is open to what's next, saying, "I do want to meet 'her,' when he is ready. When we're both ready."
Kris describes their first meeting, “I met him on a blind date and it was kind of love at first sight.” She gets emotional, saying, “I have these memories of this life, and I feel sometimes like it didn't exist.”
At one point Kourtney says, “I think his biggest concern is that he doesn't want to hurt us.”
Bruce can also be heard saying, “I don't think I've ever been as scared in my life, as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids.”
Kim Kardashian insists in the promo, “We want to understand his struggle.”
When “Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with Kim at her “Selfish” book signing in L.A., she set the record straight about how her mom is handling Bruce's transition. “My mom is doing really good. We're really excited, I was with Bruce yesterday, and we were just saying what an exciting time in life this is. Everyone, including my mom — we're just so happy he can be himself and happy.”
