Exclusive: Britney Spears Confirms Relationship with Charlie Ebersol
Britney Spears is officially back off the market! "Yes, there is a special someone" she exclusively told "Extra" special correspondent Pauly D at a special celebration at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas, where she received a key to the city, and November 5 was declared "Britney Day."
When pressed for further details about her relationship with producer and writer Charlie Ebersol, son of "SNL" co-founder Dick Ebersol, Spears added "It's very new."

Though Britney has been headlining her "Piece of Me" show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for almost a year, she admits she still gets nervous when other celebrities are in attendance. "I think Jennifer Lopez came to one of the shows a couple of weeks ago and I was extremely nervous."

Lopez is rumored to be headlining her own residency at Planet Hollywood during Britney's "off" weeks, and Spears has some advice for J.Lo. "I would say it's an ideal situation to be here in Vegas and have a show. It's like a breath of fresh air. It's like a dream come true for me seriously. I'm in one location. I get to go back and forth. It's amazing and it's good for the kids too."

Britney just invited Kathy Griffin onstage for the "Freakshow" segment of her concert, where she walked the comedian like a dog and spanked her! "It was really fun having a girl up there do it for once." Spears added, "She was like, going and throwing her hair and just going crazy it was really fun." Watch the video below!
In addition to having November 5 named "Britney Spears Day" in Las Vegas, and receiving the key to the city, Britney also holds the record for best first week album sales for a female artist. Her 2000 album "Oops!... I Did It Again” was nearly beaten by Taylor Swift's "1989" this week.

Britney said of her own record, "I had no idea that that was even the case, so that's really cool. It's really phenomenal. I'll just have to toot my own horn."
