Ben Affleck Reportedly Dating ’SNL’ Producer After Jennifer Garner Divorce — Who’s That Girl?
Three months after Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck filed for divorce, he has finally moved on!
Rumors are swirling that Affleck, 44, is dating “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus, 37. The two were spotted on a dinner date Thursday night in Los Angeles, as seen in photos obtained by E! News.
A source revealed to People magazine, "They had dinner at Giorgio Baldi last night. They arrived in a limo. They looked happy. They had a quick dinner and then returned to Ben's house.”
Lindsay is reportedly staying "at Ben's new house," where she was spotted leaving in June.
A source told E! News that Affleck and Shookus also spent time together in London, where they took in a performance of Sam Mendes' play “The Ferryman," adding, "It's more than a summer fling. They are having fun and care for each other. It's early and they are taking it slow.”
Another insider told Us Weekly, "They were together on the set of 'Justice League' in London where Ben was filming reshoots.”
Aside from working on "SNL,” Shookus was also a producer on Adele's NBC special “Adele Live in New York City” and an associate producer on “30 Rock.” Shookus won an Emmy for her work on “The Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special” in 2015. Billboard also put her on its list of 50 Most Powerful Executives in music for two consecutive years, 2015 and 2016.
In a 2015 profile for The Hollywood Reporter, Shookus opened up about her early days in Hollywood, saying, "When I started as an assistant at SNL, I got my eyes on Kristen Wiig and was able to bring her for an audition for Lorne Michaels and the other producers. Turns out, Kristen Wiig can give you some street cred early on.”
Lindsay was previously married to "SNL" producer Kevin Miller and they share one child together.
A few days ago, Ben and Jennifer participated in the Fourth of July parade with their kids in Brentwood. The two have kept their split amicable since announcing their separation in 2015. In October, he told “Extra's” Charissa Thompson of Jen's work registering people to vote, "I'm so impressed by it — her and everything she does. She's a great mom and that's how it is.” Watch!
