Andy Cohen’s Message for Trump… and Invite for Kellyanne Conway to Join ‘Housewives’
“Love Connection” host Andy Cohen is leading the Hollywood backlash against President Donald Trump's tweet banning transgender individuals from serving in the military.
Cohen fired back a tweet saying, “Are you TRYING to be an a**hole?” He told “Extra's” AJ Calloway, “It is bigotry. It is not who we are as a country. I think as a leader he should be better. He should be inclusive. As someone who dodged the draft, maybe he shouldn't be looking down on people who want to serve the country.”
If he could have a conversation with Trump, he would say, “These are people who are serving our country proudly, and let them serve. Figure it out.”
Andy would welcome Trump and his team on “Watch What Happens Live.” “There are more fights in the Trump administration than there are among the 'Real Housewives of New York City' in Mexico,” Cohen said. “It is like they are all going at each other publicly. It is like the greatest reality show ever. Put me in, I want to do the reunion show. I'm ready to go.”
Speaking of reality TV, Cohen said, “I would love Sean Spicer on 'Dancing with the Stars'… that would be great TV… I really want Kellyanne Conway on 'Real Housewives.' When she's done. She is amazing. I want to put her in with the New York chicks.”
Meanwhile, Andy's other show, “Love Connection,” is breaking new ground tonight, with its first ever LGBTQ episode.
“We are making history tonight on 'Love Connection.' First-ever same-sex episode. We have a beautiful lesbian and we set her up with three women… and — spoiler alert — she finds love!”
Cohen is “1000 percent” convinced this will be a lasting relationship. “I want to officiate the wedding!”
Watch “Love Connection” tonight at 9 p.m. on FOX.
