'Heartbroken' Duggars 'Want to Return to TV'
The Duggars are reportedly disappointed after their show hit TLC show "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled last week.
A close source to the family told People that they were "heartbroken that they've now lost that platform."
"The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God's plan for them to spread the word about their faith," the source revealed.
The source added, "I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this. Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn't the rest of the world?"
Though "19 Kids and Counting" has been axed, there is talk of a spinoff, which would center on the older Duggar daughters, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald.
Another source commented that Jim Bob is not a big fan of the spinoff, saying, "He absolutely wanted to be back on TV and was never thrilled about the show suddenly shifting focus.”
