Richard Gere Marries Much Younger GF Alejandra Silva

Actor Richard Gere is married for a third time!

Richard, 68, has tied the knot with girlfriend Alejandra Silva, 35, after three years of dating. According to Spain's Hello magazine, the pair exchanged nuptials in a secret civil ceremony earlier this month.

Gere told HOLA! Magazine, “I have found the quiet and happy life that I have always sought.”

Silva revealed that they were planning to have kids soon.

Richard and Alejandra reportedly have plans to celebrate their union with a family party at their NYC home in May.

In December, the two sparked engagement rumors after she was seen wearing a huge sparkler on the red carpet.

Last year, she commented on the possibility of marriage, saying, “I am recently divorced. As far as a legal wedding, no, but maybe we'll have a celebration. You know, the perfect couple is made of two people who can be what the other needs. I'm living the type of life you see in the movies, truly.'

Gere met Silva when she was a “little girl” when he borrowed a boat from her father, Ignacio Silva, and reconnected with her in 2014. She said, “'Richard has known my family for 15 years. When I saw him again in Positano, I reminded him of the story.”
