LOL! ‘Suits’ Makes Meghan Markle Joke with Update on Her Character Rachel

“Suits” just had a little fun at Meghan Markle's expense after she left the show and married Prince Harry after Season 7.

Fans will recall, Meghan's character Rachel and her husband Mike moved from NYC to Seattle. In this week's episode, Mike comes back and he has an update on how Rachel is doing today.

In a nod to Meghan's life as a royal, Mike tells the other characters, “If I told you how good, you probably wouldn't believe me.”

The show doubled down, by tweeting a GIF of the scene with the message, “Turns out Rachel is doing REALLY well.”

In Meghan's first official joint interview with Harry after their engagement, she addressed leaving the show and her acting career.

Markle explained, “It's a new chapter. And also, keep in mind, I'd been working on my show for seven years. So we were very, very fortunate to be able to have that sort of longevity on a series. And for me, once we hit the 100-episode marker, I thought, 'You know what, I have ticked this box, and I feel really proud of the work I've done there.' And now it's time to work as a team with [Prince Harry].”
