Brody Jenner Breaks His Silence on Dad Bruce’s Transition: 'I Love Him to Death'
Brody Jenner is speaking out for the first time since his dad Bruce Jenner's Diane Sawyer special.
Brody, who appeared on the special with his brothers, spoke only to “Extra's” Renee Bargh, praising his dad's bravery and saying he is “very proud.”
“It's been a journey for all of us, but we're very supportive and I love him to death, and it's great to see how happy he is now.” Renee asking the 31-year old, “Do you think he is an even bigger hero now than he was as an Olympic gold medalist?”
Brody responded, “One-hundred percent, absolutely, I think it's going to change a lot of lives, and hopefully save a lot of lives.”
Jenner, who was at the launch party for the new premium Tequila Gran Centenario, also set the record straight on rumors that there's a divide between the Jenners and the Kardashians… talk that was amped up after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce” special featured only Bruce with Kris Jenner's kids.
“Absolutely not, absolutely not. I love my sisters. They're incredible people and we get along just great.”
He also insisted there is no bad blood between him, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, even though he didn't attend their wedding, “To be honest, I never really hang out with them. I love Kim to death, but I never see them, they're very busy, as am I. We don't really hang out that much. I didn't go to their wedding. I heard it was great. I wish I would have gone, it just didn't work out… I had some work stuff I had to do.” The reality star continued, “It's so funny, I always read these things like that, that Kim and I are just beefing all the time, it's such BS.”
Brody, who made a name for himself in reality TV by appearing on “The Hills” and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” is now getting ready to host his own show, “Sex with Brody” on E! “It's a funny show, it is, it's a show that I came up with about a year and a half ago with a good friend of mine. It's a talk show, more of a PG-13 version of Howard Stern, mixed with Loveline.”
