Teresa Giudice Forks Over Maserati, Furniture and Portion of Bravo Paycheck to Feds
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has handed over the keys to her 2005 Maserati Quattroporte as well as 25% of her Bravo paycheck to settle the $414,588 debt she owes the federal government, according to court documents.
New Jersey federal prosecutors filed court papers on June 5 signed by Teresa Giudice, which give the government the right to seize property and cash to recoup restitution ordered by the U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas at Giudice's October sentencing.
She will also sell off some of her furniture from her Montville Township mansion, and fork over half the rent she and her husband Joe Giudice receive from their Lincoln Park home.
Teresa turned herself in to Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, on January 5 to serve time for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.
Her husband, Joe will begin serving his 41-month sentence once Teresa is released, which is scheduled currently for December 23, 2015.
