“Extra's” Renee Bargh sat down with Channing Tatum (who produced and starred in the movie version) and choreographer Theresa Esposito to get the lowdown on what fans can expect.
The show features 13 performers, who break dance, sing, play piano, do acrobatics, and yes, strip.
Channing revealed his daughter Everly, 3, has already seen the show! "She has already been to the show," he said. “She is running around here like crazy. We keep it very casual and positive around here.”
When asked if wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum is supportive, he said, “Oh yeah, every step of the way!," adding that everyone knows each other and bounces ideas off each other.
Explaining the show, he said, “It has a story on some level. The big takeaway was that we wanted it to be this really base level experience. We want people to leave and still think about it after they leave.”
He assured Renee, “The thing that I like to say is that it will be exactly what you want it to be. We have a safe word and you will find it out in the show that everyone can use and the guys actually listen. You WILL need a safe word, just so you know.”
Theresa added, “It's an experience… you are going to come here and be involved.”
