Jessica Simpson Tells All About Her Make-out Dates with Eric Johnson
Over the weekend, it was a family affair for Jessica Simpson as she headed home to Waco, Texas, to show off looks from her spring collection, and to present a $10,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club, at her hometown Dillard's.
Jessica was surrounded by her mom Tina; sister Ashlee and her family; her husband and their adorable kids Ace and Maxwell; plus the person she was happiest to be back in Texas to see — her Nana!
Jessica talked only to “Extra's” Renee Bargh, opening up about life at home, her billion-dollar fashion empire and whether she will be making a return to reality TV.
Simpson is a busy working mom, but she says she always makes time for her husband, Eric Johnson, who she married in 2014. Their relationship is the definition of couple goals! Jess revealed, “We do do dates, but it's more like couch dates, make-out dates.” She smiled, asking, “Who needs food?” and called Eric her “guilty pleasure.” She explained, “He always loves me and I don't know how… Maybe because we got really amazing kids. He always just takes care of me.”
Jessica, who appeared on “Newlyweds” with ex-husband Nick Lachey from 2003-2005, also set the record straight on rumors she may return to reality TV, telling Renee, “No!”
Along with killing it in fashion, she has been working on new music for a year and a half, saying, “Acting and music is definitely happening — it's happening this year.”
The 36-year-old mogul looked amazing in a black mini from her own collection. When asked about her workout regiment, she revealed that she likes to watch TV while she sweats, calling it her mom time. “I have been watching 'Quantico' — that's a good treadmill one.”
Her fashion company is now a billion-dollar success, but she wasn't always so sure her fashion line would be a smash! She admitted, “My mom and I were just having fun putting together outfits and knowing every body type and what they would like and what they would look good in.”
She isn't slowing down anytime soon, dishing, “I wanna go everywhere with it — it is just the beginning. We got to make furniture, dog clothes… why not?”
