Will Anderson Cooper’s Response to ‘Live!’ Question Give Him a Permanent Seat Next to Kelly Ripa?
Last night, TV personality Anderson Cooper answered the million-dollar question on Andy's Cohen's Bravo show “Watch What Happens Live!”
When a caller asked what he thought about possibly co-hosting “Live!” with Kelly Ripa, Cooper responded, "Listen, I love Kelly. And I think Kelly's the heart and soul of that show, and it's gonna go on and continue to be great. And I wish Michael the best in his new endeavor.” Watch!
When Cohen asked if Cooper would take the job if he was offered the gig, Cooper said, "Look, I'm very happy at CNN. It would be a dream to work with Kelly, but nobody's offering me anything.”
Anderson has filled in on “Live!” in the past.
Cohen is also a favorite as a possible permanent replacement for Michael, but he recently revealed why he can't join the show. He told Us Weekly earlier this week, "I've kind of said everything I had to say about it. I have 10 jobs!”
Josh Groban, Marla Maples, Khloé Kardashian, and Alec Baldwin are some of the other big names mentioned as possible fill-ins while the show searches for its new co-host.
