Actress Margot Robbie reportedly married her filmmaker boyfriend Tom Ackerley over the weekend!
The pair wed in a secret ceremony in Australia, on the Gold Coast, near her hometown in Dalby.
An insider told Woman's Day, "The Gold Coast was somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it's where she was raised as a kid, on her grandparents' farm."
"Tom initially wanted to get married in the UK, but he knows how much it means to Margot to tie the knot on home soil and how special it is for her, so he didn't put up much of a fight,” the source continued. "They decided to marry around Christmas so they could spend time with both their families afterwards, which they've never done before.”
The nuptials took place just a few months after the couple got in engaged in summer. The pair, who were dating for three years, have not made a public announcement about their wedding.
Though Margot and Tom don't have children yet, she has plans to raise their future family Down Under. She shared on “The Project” earlier this year, "They'll be here. The kids will be in Australia."
