Lori Loughlin & Daughter Share Public Embrace Amid Court Drama
On Friday, just days after Lori Loughlin made what has been described as a "smiley" appearance in court regarding her alleged involvement in a college admissions cheating scandal, she was spotted out and about in L.A. with daughter Isabella Rose.
Olivia Jade Giannulli Joked She Was 'Literally Never' in Class
View StoryPeople magazine reports that Loughlin, who stands accused, along with her husband Mossimo Giannulli, of paying $500,000 to have her daughters designated crew team recruits in order to facilitate their acceptance at USC, was seen running errands with Isabella.
At one point, the two shared a sweet hug.
Loughlin, 54, and Giannulli, 55, are among dozens accused in the scandal, which involves not only USC but also Yale, Georgetown, and Stanford.
On Wednesday, Loughlin and Giannulli, as well as fellow actor Felicity Huffman, appeared for the first time before a judge in a Boston courtroom. In the six-minute hearing, the couple waived their right to a preliminary hearing and agreed to "several pretrial conditions, including surrendering their passports and no possession of firearms."
Loughlin reportedly shook hands with the case's prosecutors during the hearing.
Neither Loughlin nor Giannulli have entered pleas in their cases, but the charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud carry up to a maximum of 20 years in prison. There is no future court date set as of this writing.
