Hayden Panettiere Enters Treatment Center for Postpartum Depression Amid ‘Nashville’ Cancellation
Actress Hayden Panettiere took to Twitter to reveal she is seeking additional treatment for postpartum depression.
Hayden tweeted, "The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life. Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms, I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!”
Us Weekly reports she is currently getting help in Utah.
Her announcement came shortly before news broke that her show “Nashville” has been cancelled after 4 seasons.
In October, Panettiere checked into rehab for postpartum depression after giving birth to daughter Kaya in December 2014. At the time, her rep said in a statement, "Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression. She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time."
