Jennifer Lopez Dishes on Alex Rodriguez’s Dancing
On Monday, Jennifer Lopez looked pretty in pink as she hit the red carpet for NBC's upfronts.

Lopez was promoting her two shows, “Shades of Blue,” coming back for Season 3, and her new show “World of Dance,” premiering May 30. “Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with Lopez, who revealed that boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, not only loves to dance, but is also a fan of her new show!
Alex and Jennifer were spotted out in Manhattan on a date last night. Jennifer dished, “Alex loves dancing, absolutely.” When AJ asked if they have hit the dance floor together, J.Lo replied, “Yeah, we have fun all the time so, yeah, but he loves to dance, he loves to dance — he loves the show.”
J.Lo confirmed Rodriguez has seen “World of Dance," saying, “He's seen the first few episodes, too — him, his daughters, my kids, they all watched it together and they loved it.”
Lopez believes that America is going to love the show, sharing, “It's so exciting, honestly; you produce something and you have an idea, you all work together and you don't know how things are going to turn out. And when it turns out like this, you get so excited, 'cause you're like, 'Oh, my God, it's everything I thought it would be!' It's amazing dancing, amazing emotion, emotional stories, great contestants, great judges, great chemistry with all of us… it's just awesome.”
It's extra special for Jennifer since dancing and music were her first passions. She said she was proud “to be able to create an opportunity like this for the dance community where they get to be the stars.”
It's not just offering an opportunity — the show is also offering a million-dollar prize! She pointed out, “They can actually make some money, which never really existed for dancers. I know, because I started as a dancer.”
Jennifer said “Shades of Blue,” which is currently filming, is “a hard gig for me. Harley's an intense character. I do like playing her, it's such a different side of me. I really get to dig my teeth into acting.”
The 47-year-old celebrated Mother's Day with her mini-me twins, telling AJ, “I had a great Mother's Day! I was with my kids, of course, and my mom, my whole family, and we had a great time.”
