Chris Soules Reportedly Bought Alcohol Before Crash, His ‘Level of Intoxication’ Questioned
More details surrounding “The Bachelor” alum Chris Soules' fatal car crash are being revealed in new court documents, obtained by “Extra.”
In the papers, the prosecutors accused Soules of buying alcohol before the accident, which killed Kenneth Mosher. The state claims that Soules attempted "to obfuscate the immediate facts and circumstances surrounding the accident, including a determination of his level of intoxication and an explanation of the empty and partially consumed open alcoholic beverages located in and around his vehicle that he was seen purchasing at a convenience store shortly before the accident.”
The court documents, which call attention to Soules' level of intoxication, were in response to Chris' legal team requesting that his felony charge be dropped. On Monday, his team argued that he didn't leave the scene of the accident since he called the cops after the accident and identified himself. They also say that he stayed on the scene until the ambulance showed up.
In previous court documents, the police noted that there were alcoholic beverages found at the crash scene. Hours after the collision, Soules was arrested at his home.
Last night, “Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with “The Bachelor” star Nick Viall, who weighed in on Chris' legal drama. Nick said, “It's a terrible situation. I'm praying for the family and the man who passed away. Obviously, Chris has my love and I'm hoping for the best for everyone involved.”
