Chris Soules Pleads Not Guilty in Hit-and-Run Case
On Tuesday, “The Bachelor” alum Chris Soules pleaded not guilty to the charge that he left the scene of an accident that left 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher dead last month.
In court documents obtained by "Extra," Soules filed a written plea, waiving his right to an in-person arraignment in open court.
The day before, Soules' motion to dismiss the felony charge against him was rejected by a judge in Iowa. His lawyers recently argued that he didn't flee the scene, pointing out that he called 911 after the collision and identified himself.
In a statement, his legal team said, “In fact [Soules] was the one who contacted law enforcement immediately. His attorneys are confident that once all the evidence is made public, it will show Soules acted reasonably and did everything in his power to provide aid to Mr. Mosher."
