Julia Louis-Dreyfus Gives Update on Cancer Battle
Earlier this month, “Veep" actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus revealed she is battling breast cancer, just weeks after winning an Emmy.
At the time, she wrote on Instagram, "1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one.”
On Thursday, Louis-Dreyfus used humor to reveal she has completed her second round of chemotherapy. Along with a pic of herself in a hoodie with a mustache drawn on, she thanked “Veep” co-star Tony Hale and Katy Perry for “their hilarious and loving inspiration.” Along with a lyric from Katy's hit song “Roar,” she added, "We are NOT f**king around here. 'I've got the eye of the tiger. The Fighter dancing through the fire cuz I am a champion and your're going to hear me ROAR.'”
