Report: ‘OITNB’ Star Taryn Manning Arrested for Threatening Former Friend
Actress Taryn Manning, who plays inmate Pennsatucky on the hit Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black," has been arrested for making criminal threats against a former close pal.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Manning had been previously ordered to stay away from Jeanine Heller, but a judge ruled on Tuesday that Manning violated the restraining order by threatening to kill Heller via text and social media.
The site reports Taryn was not in court, so the judge cited her for contempt, and police subsequently arrested her.
The relationship has reportedly been contentious for some time. Heller also has a prior arrest for violating a restraining order obtained by Manning.
