Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Say They Knew Nothing About ‘Full House’ Reboot
As Michelle Tanner would say, “You're in big trouble, mister!”
“Full House” fans are buzzing about the reboot “Fuller House” heading to Netflix next year, but Mary-Kate and Ashley, who played Michelle for eight years, just found out about it on Tuesday.
"I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening," Mary-Kate told Women's Wear Daily.
Ashley revealed she recently saw her on-screen dad, Bob Saget, and news of the show wasn't discussed.
"I ran into Bob the other day and we didn't even talk about it," said Ashley. "I'm going to call and get his perspective."
Mary-Kate added, "I'm shocked I haven't heard from John [Stamos]."
Former “Full House” co-star John Stamos let the cat out of the bag on Monday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!” when he said that Netflix picked up “Fuller House” for 13 episodes.
Candace Cameron Bure broke the news to “Extra” at the “Dancing with the Stars” 10th anniversary party, where she told fans she was definitely onboard to reprise her role as D.J. Tanner.
“It's super exciting,” Candace said about bringing back the fan-favorite. It's been 25 years since “Full House” aired, and Candace revealed it took some time to get it back on the small screen.
“It's been a long process,” she said, adding, "I'm just relieved I'm finally able to tell everyone that the show is coming back. It was a secret.”
The series will reportedly revolve around D.J.'s character, a recent widow who is expecting her third child. Instead of three men raising a family, D.J. will move in with her younger sister Stephanie Tanner (played by Jodie Sweetin) and their former neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber).
