'Night Court' Star Harry Anderson Dead at 65
UPDATE: TMZ has new details surrounding Anderson's death. The site has obtained audio dispatch indicating a call was made to report someone suffering from cardiac arrest at Anderson's home. When EMTs arrived on the scene, the actor was reportedly already dead.
Harry Anderson, who starred as Judge Harry T. Stone on “Night Court,” has died, reports WSPA 7 in Asheville, North Carolina. He was 65.
Asheville Police spokeswoman Christina Hallingse told the local news station that authorities were called to his home early Monday morning, and that no foul play was suspected.
Anderson's son Dashiell told TMZ that his father died of natural causes.
Anderson earned three Emmy nominations for his turn as Judge Harry T. Stone, and appeared in many television shows over the years, including “30 Rock,” “Cheers” and the 1990 TV mini-series “It.”
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Elizabeth Morgan, and two children from a previous marriage.
