What Will Happen to Bobbi Kristina’s $20-Mil Fortune?
Bobbi Kristina Brown was the heir to her mother Whitney Houston's $20-million fortune, but she died before receiving her full inheritance.
According to the New York Daily News, her mother arranged for her to receive 10 percent, or $2 million, at age 21, 15 percent, or $3 million, at 25 and the remainder of the funds at 30.
Now, TMZ says the remaining money will be distributed according to Whitney's will. Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy Houston and Whitney's two brothers will inherit any money left in the trust.
Houston's will reportedly also includes, "my husband, Robert B. Brown,” but it is unlikely Bobby will receive any of the money, since the couple divorced after the will was drafted.
There is a caveat. Any money Bobbi Kristina received prior to her death will be distributed based on Bobbi's will.
According to Georgia law, those funds, along with any assets, will go to next of kin. Unless boyfriend Nick Gordon can prove that he was legally married to Bobbi Kristina, the money will go to her dad.
