Did John Goodman Just Reveal How 'The Conners' Will Handle Roseanne’s Exit?
How will “The Conners” on without the show's matriarch, Roseanne? ABC hasn't confirmed it, but John Goodman is dishing the details.
As a refresher, ABC canceled the “Roseanne” revival in May following a controversial tweet by star and executive producer Roseanne Barr. “The Conners” spin-off was announced weeks later, and the network confirmed Barr would not be involved.
Goodman, who plays Roseanne's husband Dan, opened up to the British newspaper The Times about his character, and what's in store when the spin-off premieres October 16.
John suggests Roseanne will be killed off, saying, “I guess he'll be mopey and sad because his wife's dead.”
