Actress Angelina Jolie hit the red carpet for the New York premiere of “First They Killed My Father” with all six kids… and her dad, Jon Voight!
Jolie also showed off her massive back tattoo – reportedly a symbolic tie to ex Brad Pitt – as she opened up about her passion project.
The film is set in her eldest son Maddox's native Cambodia during the country's brutal genocide.
Jolie told “Extra's” AJ Calloway, “His birth parents, his family would've gone through this war in some way.”
At 16, Maddox could be the youngest executive producer in movie history! That is the title he holds on the film, which is based on Loung Ung's best-selling memoir of the same name and was directed by Angelina.
Jolie explained that Maddox has known Loung and her story his whole life and they told him when he was ready they would all make the movie together. When the time was right, they went for it!
Angelina said she fell in love with Cambodia while filming “Tomb Raider.”
