Stars of ‘If I Stay’ Talk About the Impact of a Good Book
The romantic drama “If I Stay” is the latest big-screen adaptation of a young adult novel, this time from author Gayle Forman.
The film follows young Mia (Chloe Grace Moretz), whose life changes in an instant after a car accident leaves her in a coma. During an out-of-body experience, she must decide whether to wake up and live a life, which includes her first love Adam (Jamie Blackley), or something far different than she had imagined.
ExtraTV.com spoke with Moretz and Blackley, along with Mireille Enos and Joshua Leonard (Mia’s parents), about how to turn a good book into a movie.
“If I Stay” begins its stay in theaters this Friday.
