Playing in Minneapolis, Timberlake couldn't resist paying homage to late hometown hero Prince, who died in 2016. In honor of the music legend, Timberlake performed a tricky duet with a projection of the icon, singing "I Would Die 4 U." The entire stadium and surrounding areas throbbed with a purple glow as the performance was unfurled.
For his "Can't Stop the Feeling" finale, Justin dashed into the crowd, even pausing for a selfie with a shocked young fan!
After his halftime show, Justin made an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," where he spoke about his performance and his tribute to Prince. He said, "I just felt like I wanted to do something for this city and something for him that would just be the ultimate homage to what I consider the GOAT [Greatest of All Time] of musicians."
Timberlake's tour kicks off in March.
