Pics! Kim Kardashian’s 40th Birthday Bash on Private Island
Kim Kardashian is 40, and she celebrated in style!
The reality star just posted pics from her trip to a private island with her closest family and friends.

She wrote in the caption, “40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter. For my birthday this year, I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.”
Kim continued, “Before COVID, I don't think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment. After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.”
It sounds like they had a blast. Kardashian dished, “We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40.”
Based on the photos, it looks like siblings Kourtney, Khloé, Rob, and Kendall Jenner made the trip, as well as mom Kris. Kylie is noticeably missing, as well as Kim's husband Kanye West. TMZ, however, reports Kanye missed the first few days of the trip, but did attend.
Other guests included Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick and son Mason, La La Anthony, Corey Gamble and Devon Booker.
Sources tell TMZ that Kim treated everyone to private villas on the beach and gifted Skims pajamas, KKW Beauty products, GoPros, and waterproof disposable cameras.
The insiders say the movie screening on the beach that Kim mentioned on Instagram was Judd Apatow's “This Is 40.” How fitting!
The birthday girl also received a special gift… a video of birthday wishes from her children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, as well as famous friends like Cher, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
