Will Luke Be Back? Mark Hamill Dishes on His 'Star Wars' Future

"Extra's” Mario Lopez spoke to Mark Hamill at the 2018 Academy Awards, where he dished on the future of Luke Skywalker.
Mark commented, “Whatever they do, I'm fine with nine. Here's the hashtag: 'I'm fine with nine!' I never expected to come back. I had a beginning, middle and an end. I thought even if I come back, they're not going to use characters from before. It was a treat."
In a few days, Hamill will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He shared, “The most exciting thing is that I said George Lucas and Harrison Ford won't come, but I should ask them anyway — and they're coming! And they both have an aversion to all the hoopla to the crowds and cameras, so that's really meaningful to me.”
As for where the star will be located, Mark said, “It's right in front of the El Capitan Theatre.”
