Andy Cohen Says Joe Giudice Should Stay in U.S.: ‘I Feel Like He Is Getting a Raw Deal’
There is more drama brewing on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Teresa and Joe Giudice are back in the headlines after Joe asked a judge to let him return to Italy while he awaits a decision on his deportation ruling. His previous request to return home to New Jersey was denied.
“Extra” was with Andy Cohen at the Clio Awards where he said he thinks Joe should be able to stay in the U.S. “It's a sad state of affairs,” Andy said. “I feel like he has done his time and they should let him stay.”
He added, “He paid his dues, he has a family here, he has the girls — I feel like he is getting a raw deal.”
Joe served a 41-month sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud and has been held in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement since being released. He has appealed a decision by the court to deport him, but the final decision is pending.
A new trailer for “RHONJ” shows a heated conversation between Joe and Teresa while their daughter Gia listens in. Joe even tells Teresa he never even wanted to get married.
Season 10 of the Bravo show premieres in November.
