First Photo! Amy Schumer & Chris Fischer Welcome Baby Boy

On Monday, Schumer announced that she had given birth the night before, sharing an Instagram photo of husband Chris Fischer kissing her forehand as she holds their baby.

Referencing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby boy, Amy joked, “10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born.”

In response to the precious photo, Amy's “I Feel Pretty” co-star Emily Ratajkowski wrote, “Congrats!!!”

Amy also posted a photo of herself just before she arrived at the hospital. She joked, "Met look this year. Last night on the way to the hospital 👠."

Over the weekend, Amy revealed the gender of their baby. The proud parents-to-be made the announcement in a long rant about Wendy's on her Instagram account, hiding it at the very end with a simple, "Also we are having a boy."

Last week, Schumer posted a shot of herself in a doctor's office with her baby bump bared, telling her followers, “Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I've been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I'm still pregnant. Well imagine how I feel mother f—!!!!!!”

Amy's pregnancy has been difficult — including a bout of hyperemesis gravidarum, or acute morning sickness.

In November, Schumer was forced to cancel some comedy shows since she was hospitalized. She shared, “I'm fine. Baby's fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I've been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bullsh*t!”

Around the same time that Prince Harry and Meghan announced they were expecting, Amy announced she was pregnant in a very unusual way. Schumer enlisted her friend Jessica Yellin at News Not Noise to help get the word out. Yellin shared a list of Amy's voting recommendations on Instagram Stories and ended the post with the line, “I'm pregnant-Amy Schumer.”

The 37-year-old poked fun at her pregnancy in her latest Netflix special “Growing.”
