Kim & Kourtney Kardashian Evacuated After Woolsey Fire Hits Calabasas
Last night, reality star Kim Kardashian flew back to Los Angeles, only to discover that she needed to evacuate from her home in Hidden Hills.
Kardashian documented the Woolsey fire on Instagram as she arrived via private jet. She wrote, “Pray for Calabasas. Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”
As well as show her appreciation to the first responders, she added while sitting in a car, “They're evacuating everyone right now from all of our homes.”
Kim's older sister Kourtney was also forced to evacuate from her Calabasas home. She posted a pic of her car trunk showing packed bags, writing, “I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight.”
Aside from Calabasas, the Woolsey fire has forced many residents from Westlake Village, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura to evacuate. Parts of the 101 Freeway have also been shut down.
Others who have been affected by the fire include Alyssa Milano, who tweeted, “I just had to evacuate my home from the fires. I took my kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots.”
TMZ reports Caitlyn Jenner has lost her Malibu home to the fire on Friday. The house was featured on her show "I Am Cait."
