Lady Gaga: A 'Carpool Karaoke' Star Is Born

Lady Gaga is the latest celeb to hop in James Corden's passenger seat for an installment of "Carpool Karaoke," Variety reports.
Gaga, who filmed the segment Friday for airing later this month, alerted her Twitter followers that it was "a lil fun." She wore a gold metallic blouse with a bow, topping it off with the pink fedora that she wears on the cover of her new album, "Joanne."
As involved as Gaga is in her new-album promo, she took time out Friday evening to celebrate the birthday of "my best friend Sonja," who Gaga says is battling stage-four breast cancer "that has spread to many parts of her body including brain."
In spite of Sonja's dire prognosis, the two shared a colorful selfie (photobombed by a balloon) from the festivities, and Gaga asked her little monsters to log in to CancerBase.org to learn more about the scourge of cancer.
