Clare Crawley’s Very Telling ‘Extra’ Interview Before Filming Started on ‘The Bachelorette’
Before the pandemic and all the drama, only “Extra's” Billy Bush got the chance to chat with Clare Crawley as she embarked on her journey to find love. Now, fans are waiting to find out what exactly Chris Harrison meant when he said she “blew up 'The Bachelorette,'” and if it has anything to do with reports she fell for former NFL player Dale Moss during filming.
She was certainly ready for love! Billy asked, “Do you still believe in the possibility of finding real love in short production schedule television?” Clare answered, “I wouldn't be standing here if I didn't.”
Crawley insisted she was in it for the right reasons, saying, “I'm not in it for the fame. I'm not in it for the tweets and the Instagrams… It's more important for me to find a good man.”
Her perfect man? “A real man is strong enough to be soft… Somebody who can kind of face the fire and not run away from it. That's always what I've been looking for.”
She's the oldest Bachelorette at 39, saying, “If you would've asked 23-year-old Clare what I wanted, it would be a completely different answer than what I say now. Twenty-four-year-old, 28-year-old, 32, 35 and 38… It's all kind of evolved into what I really know what I want now.””
Chris Harrison Says What Went Down on ‘The Bachelorette’ Was ‘Just Bizarre’
View StoryBilly said, “Let's talk about age on the fellas. What's too young?”
Crawley answered, “Here's my concern over anything... if I'm too old for them, because I can handle it. I feel young at heart, my spirit is super youthful, so I'm more worried about if they're going to go, 'Is she too old for me?'” Billy told her, “The thing about young guys here, excuse me, hooking up with older women, that's exciting. That's, like, riveting.” Clare asked, “Is that a thing?”
Clare also took our rapid-fire quiz. Check it out!
