First Pics! Whitney Way Thore’s Ex Welcomes Baby Girl with Another Woman

Reality star Whitney Way Thore's ex-fiancé Chase Severino is a dad for the first time!

On Wednesday, Chase announced that he welcomed a baby girl named Aurora Joyce. He did not reveal the baby's mother.

Along with a series of pics of his newborn, Chase wrote on Instagram, “You scared me, little one, coming so early but what a blessing you turned out to be. I always rolled my eyes and laughed at the prospect of fatherhood before but as cliche as it sounds you're the world to me now. From the moment I saw you my eyes teared up and I instantly fell in love."

“It's crazy going from having yourself as number one to putting someone else there. I guess one can change," he went on. "I'm happy to welcome you into the world, Aurora Joyce Severino. I love you with all my heart. #AJ #girldad #hellobeautiful #appleofmyeye #babygirl #stinkypoops💩 #babywin."

In May, Whitney announced that she was no longer engaged to Chase. At the time, she explained that Chase had reconnected with another woman, who was pregnant with his child. She wrote on Instagram, “Hey y'all. This is a really weird and uncomfortable thing to have to 'announce' on social media, but as I get more questions and hear more rumors, I figured it was time. Chase and I are no longer engaged.”

Thore continued, “After experiencing a lot of ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he has had a long history. Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had resulted in a pregnancy. Chase will be a father in October.”

The 36-year-old insisted, “I'm not interested in anything hateful being directed toward anyone. I would ask for privacy for all involved as we move on and focus on the future.”

Severino followed up with his own Instagram post, writing, "I don't even know where/how to start. I am very excited to announce I am expecting a child in the fall. Please see Whitney's post for details. I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together. Thank you for always supporting us. As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous."

Two months later, Whitney opened up about her decision to come out with the news of Chase's impending fatherhood. “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” star told People magazine, “It's a difficult thing to navigate — honestly, I would have rather not said it, just to avoid the inevitable backlash and gossip, but at the same time, people in their lives already knew of course and a baby isn't something that can remain private in the future,” she said. “I definitely didn't want it to look like I wasn't aware of the full situation, but at the same time, I truly just don't want the drama and the gossip.”
