Joe & Melissa Gorga’s Reaction to Joe & Teresa Giudice’s Recent Interview with Andy Cohen
Reality stars Joe and Melissa Gorga are speaking out about the drama surrounding Joe and Teresa Giudice, inviting “Extra” into their home for an exclusive house tour and sit-down interview.
The state of the relationship between Joe's sister Teresa and her husband is unknown after Joe was deported to Italy, where he awaits a final ruling on whether he will be allowed back into the U.S. Joe and Teresa are set to reunite in Italy this week.
Joe and Melissa will not be part of the reunion between Joe, Teresa and their daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. Joe explained, “We're gonna let the kids and parents enjoy their time as a family.” Melissa added, “That's an intimate time.”
Joe has FaceTimed with his brother-in-law, though, sharing, “He's doing good, he looking good.”
Gorga has been there for his sister as their legal ordeal played out on camera and at home. Joe served a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, while Teresa served a little over 11 months for the same crimes. Joe pointed out, “I want to lay something all down right now — it's real. What's happening now in the past 10 years, everything was real on the show, which is pretty crazy.”
Teresa and Joe's interview on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” got quite a reaction from Joe. He admitted, “I was emotional when Teresa started crying, I broke down, so it's tough. We're really living it and I feel sorry for her, I feel sorry for them.”
Melissa, who said she is “rooting for them,” added, “These are two people that have not been in each other's presence or kissed each other in almost four years, so it was awkward and it was hard to watch, especially for us that really know them as a couple."
Melissa and Teresa have had their ups and downs, even going at it at in the last “RHONJ” reunion, but they are back in a good place. She revealed, “We hang all the time, we do Sunday dinners together… We're good, the family is tight and good. I'm not gonna say we don't argue, because we do.”
In other news, Joe and Melissa built their current “dream home” from the ground up, but it's now on the market! She commented, “Listen, guys, this is prime real estate right here, this is where a major TV show is filmed.” They even gave "Extra" a house tour. Check it out!
Melissa also teased what's to come when Season 10 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey" debuts, saying, “There is one shopping scene this year that is difficult to watch… You're gonna see some hair being pulled… of course, or else we wouldn't be 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.'”
“RHONJ” airs Wednesday on Bravo.
