Robert Pattinson Is the New Batman!

Breaking Batman news! Robert Pattinson has officially been cast as the caped crusader, according to Variety and Deadline.
The news comes weeks after Variety first reported that Pattinson was in talks for the role.
Matt Reeves, best-known for directing the last two “Planet of the Apes” films, is set to direct.
Pre-production will reportedly begin this summer, and filming could start later this year or in 2020.
Pattinson has some big shoes to fill! Past Batmans include Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton.
It is a huge score for Pattinson, who is no stranger to major franchises.
RPatz shot to fame as Cedric Diggory in the "Harry Potter" films before reaching teen-heartthrob status as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" series.
