Kris Jenner Talks ‘Perfect’ Grandson Psalm and His Unusual Name
Kris Jenner stepped out for the Fresh Air Fund Annual Spring Benefit in NYC, where she opened up to “Extra” about her grandson Psalm, daughter Kylie's new skincare line, her friend Tommy Hilfiger, and more.
Kris is a grandmother for the 10th time, and gushed over Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new addition, Psalm, saying, “He's so great, he's perfect.”
As for his name? She confirmed he was named after “the book of Psalms in the Bible,” adding, “We're very excited about it, he's precious.” She's not sure whose personality he has just yet. “He's just a week old or so, we're just getting to know him.”
"Extra" has also obtained a birth certificate for the infant, which confirms he does not have a middle name. Kim and Kanye did not give their older kids North and Saint middle names, and Chicago's birth certificate didn't list one either. Kim hinted that Chi's middle name might be Noel, but it was never confirmed.
Kris is also proud of daughter Kylie Jenner, who just launched her skincare line called KylieSkin. “It's so exciting, I watched her really create this brand, and be so passionate, and really roll her sleeves up and do something she has always wanted to do and watch it come to life.”
Jenner continued, “It's like one of her babies, she's so excited. It launched today to great success.” She even used her mom to test her products. “She does, she does, constantly. I think I'm her guinea pig at this point. We have been playing with it for quite some time. I love the face wash, I love the face cream, I love it all!”
Daughter Khloé Kardashian is going to be back on the air with her show “Revenge Body.” Kris said, “She loves being able to take on somebody else and show them how to not be stuck in the situation they are in.” She added, “It's fascinating how she can really help somebody pull themselves together.”
Kris was so happy to be at the Fresh Air Fund Spring Benefit to support Tommy Hilfiger after he dressed her for the Met Gala. “I loved being a blonde that night,” she said, sharing, “I'm so honored to be here, as he is honored tonight celebrating 20 years of Camp Tommy. He has such a soft spot in his heart for kids and Camp Tommy.”
The Fresh Air Fund provides summer experiences for children from underserved communities in New York City. Camp Tommy is one of the associated camps, and was named after Tommy Hilfiger for his generous support.
