Venus Williams Invests Big in Self-Care
Tennis superstar Venus Williams is putting her money where her heart is when it comes to self-care!
Announcing an investment with Asutra that gives her an ownership stake in the company — meaning she will be Chief Brand Officer — Williams is taking the next step in expanding her business footprint.
Williams joins Asutra owner and CEO Stephanie Morimoto in the self-described "woman-owned and woman-led company." Long an advocate for women, Williams said in a press release she was proud to join Asutra, known for "cruelty-free, organic, and natural personal care and pain relief products."
She told WWD, “I love their focus on active self-care. Obviously, I live and breathe that, and I was able to use their products as a part of actively taking care of myself. I also love that their products work and they use all natural ingredients, so you can use the products for your mind, body, and soul. That was a huge appeal for me and just fit right into my lifestyle.”
Venus has already won big with her full-service commercial and residential design firm, V Starr, and her popular EleVen by Venus Williams line.
Asutra is available at Asutra.com, Amazon, iherb.com, Walmart.com, and CVS stores across the country.
