Blake Talks 'Rare' Outing with Gwen: 'We Don't Really Get a Chance to Do Anything'
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani made it a family affair, stepping out with her kids for the premiere of his new animated movie "UglyDolls" Saturday at Regal Cinemas L.A.
Blake was with "Extra's" Terri Seymour, saying, "It's a rare thing for Gwen and I to even get out at all. We don't really get a chance to do anything. One of the two of us are working or the kids are in school — it just never works out for us to all go out. We get to do it about four or five times a year — this is one of them."

Smiling, he observed, "My cool points went up with this one."
Blake plays Ox in the movie. “He's the official Mayor of Uglyville," he said, "and he has a big secret... you figure out he has been hiding for a long time. He did it for the right reasons.”
Joking about identifying with his doll, Blake humbly said, "He's super ugly for one thing. He has a big belly hangin' off him.”
"UglyDolls" is in theaters May 3.
