The 21-year-old recently posted a photo recreating one of his dad's famous poses. "Yeah, yeah, he is very serious about this whole thing," Arnold said. "He wants to compete in one of the classic physique competitions… He's training very hard.”
Arnold helped Joseph train, coaching him on doing deadlifts! “I'm a big believer in also training for strength… I put it on 455 and he did two reps. I saw him do one and I was like, 'Go for the second one, Joseph…'”
The actor continued, “He's very serious about it and I'm very happy about it because I said to him, 'It's important to take care of your body, train hard, if you're passionate about that, but also study hard, because the key is to get your business degree at Pepperdine.”

Schwarzenegger also spoke out for the first time about his daughter Katherine's headline-making engagement to Chris Pratt, saying, “That was really fantastic. She is so happy, they both are so happy. As I said to him, he is such a likable guy. I love Chris — he's fantastic.”
Chris asked Arnold for Katherine's hand in marriage "the traditional way," Arnold confirmed, saying, "He's a wonderful guy. They both look really great together, they're both happy together, so I wish them both the best of luck.”
The 71-year-old also gave a health update after having open-heart surgery to replace an old valve last spring. Now, he's back in tip-top shape himself. “I always have a lot of help," he conceded. "You need to have the doctors there to pump you up, the nurses there to help you with the walking, to get going again. My girlfriend Heather was there, and she was pumping me up all day long and she stayed there at night… Three months later I was on the set of 'Terminator 6' shooting in Budapest.”
He added, “I was very happy with the filming of it, so it will come out in November.”
He was also excited to be at Arnold Pro Strongman USA, saying, “We brought muscles back to the pier in Santa Monica.”
