Rumor Bust! Katharine McPhee & David Foster Are Not Having a $50-Mil Wedding

Katharine McPhee and David Foster will surely have a lavish wedding, but not to the tune of $50 million.
An article falsely reported the whopping price tag with claims the couple was planning a huge blowout wedding with more than 500 guests. A source said they would likely rent a Malibu mansion for the event, and were hoping to hire Wolfgang Puck to oversee the menu. There was also talk of a custom gown by Georges Chakra.
Gossip Cop checked with reps for the pair, who laughed off the rumors that the couple would spend $50 million on their nuptials. The site also pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding cost only $45 million, and furthermore, Foster is worth an estimated $30 million.
What we do know is Katharine has picked out a dress. She shared a photo of another wedding dress, while teasing that she was at a fitting with David's daughter Jordan.

Foster and McPhee have been linked since 2017, when they were spotted on a dinner date in Malibu.
Katharine was married to Nick Cokas from 2008 to 2016. David has been married five times, most recently to Yolanda Hadid from 2011 to 2017.
